The only real mistake is the one
from which we learn nothing.

Mission Statement

Represent our members and empower and support them so we
can positively impact the education and lives of all students at IS 25.
Advocate on behalf of the students and families of this school in the
community and before other organizations that make decisions that
affect the community of IS 25.
Increase and improve parental involvement to help expand and
improve academics and enrichment for all and create a lateral
environment between administration, staff, parents and students.

To make every family and staff member feel welcomed into
the PTA community.
To promote good citizenship, PTA representatives need to
model it.
To encourage all parents to volunteer some amount of time to
the IS 25 community especially because parent involvement is
essential to promoting good citizenship among students.
To aid in providing programs that help students deal with
many issues in a healthy and productive manner.
To assist both home and school environments, to teach
children and parents good citizenship.
Improve on parents and school staff working together.
To enhance the school's curriculum by funding programs we
are able to.
Assist and improve on all communications between the school
and the families.
To foster a relationship between parents and school staff that
is supportive and enthusiastic in meeting PTA's goals and
objectives.
